Pros: none because I haven't been able to get perfectly new devices to EVER work and samsung doesn't know how to help and refuses to escalate to supervisor levels.
Cons: Poor applications for this device. NO real support. They have had so many complaints they have developed whole departments whose job it is to block any upset customers from actually talking to a supervisor etc. No accountability. RUN!
Summary: I have no idea how the tablet performs because mine is stuck with an application issue. I have ipod touches so I am not new to this type of technology. The galaxy uses media hub to access movies etc. The problem is Samsung has NO IDEA what they are doing. Their customer service is uneducated and in chaos. I called with my problem and was transferred to every possible department,but never actually getting to the mysterious media hub support. After being so frustrated I wanted my money back I was escalated to a 'make believe' executive support team who REFUSED to escalate me to a supervisor. They kept wanting me to return the devices when both devices had the exact same problem with the application. (Common sense says then it is the application). So I ask to escalate to a supervisor since clearly at his level he is not allowed to make a common sense decision. He refused and it is their POLICY to refuse. You HAVE to return it to then 'maybe' get escalated? Really? I called the corporate office and guess what... they bounce me right back to this horrible group. Clearly they have so many angry users they have had to set up all these make believe mini-organizations to keep the people at the top from taking responsibility for making bad decisions on product and application partnerships. I can guarantee if you have a problem you will lose your lovely $600+ investment. I have 2 $600 paper weights that can't even play a movie and no one who cares. OH! And the guy at Best Buy was shocked they didn't have a buy back program because they do on almost everything. I am not shocked. They know crap when they see it and they weren't planning on eating it like Samsung has made it's consumers. I will never buy a samsung product again and I will write as many bad reviews as I can in as many places as I can. Save yourself the trouble and go buy an ipad. At least if it doesn't work they know how to support it. And by the way, you are one of the MANY people unhappy here is the corporate office's main #. They won't transfer you through but I would certainly irritate them as much as they have irritated us. 201-994-2510
