Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (8GB)

Pros: Great value, intuitive layout and design, fast

Cons: Not certified by Samsung for Flash Player 11. Adobe will not continue FP development beyond v11, but Samsung's pre-installed Video Player app works well.

Summary: I had been waiting for someone to make a device like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 before I purchased a tablet. The design, ease-of-use, display, features, etc., are great, the controls are well-located, and the device is as good as, or better than, tablets costing much more.

The 32 GB microSD/SDHC card I use to back up movies and music does a fine job of supplementing the 4 Gb internal storage.

Samsung customer service was great when I contacted them about Flash Player, its Video Player app, and other alternatives. The representative was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and had backup available when she did not have an answer. Great customer service like that is rare - and valuable.
