  • "After a long wait, Samsung dissapoints"

    Pros: Good design,

    Cons: Bad pricing

Summary: An ipad competitor for over $400 or $600 with an annual contract? Samsung must be joking

Good concept, thought this would be a deal breaker and an ipad alternative. I was wrong, Samsung dissapoints woefully again, a good product was made with bad pricing and awful distribution strategy to consumers. I waited for this to come out, the very day it came out; and went straight just like my few other friends to go buy an ipad.

I don't know how many of these will sell in this economy; except of course for folks who just want to try one out for the fun of it, and probably then return it after two weeks. I thought samsung should understand that there is a high demand for tablets everywhere but no one loves to tie its use to a cell phone carrier, don't they get it? It pains to see samsung fail with everything else (marketing, pricing, distribution) but the design of this product, and with this failure; in another 3 months, no one will remember anything called Samsung Tab or any tablet with samsung name attached to it in the world of computing, that same time; everyone will still be scrambling for ipad and its newer generation developments.

A good advice for Samsung, hire someone, anyone from apple and try to really understand that gadgets freaks don't just throw money around, they simply want good designs with reasonable and sensible pricing.

Really It's understandable that you think the IPAD is king of all gadgets. Most apple users do. But here's a few facts for people that are going to read your completely biased and inaccurate review.

    1. You do not need a plan to purchase a Samsung Galaxy tab.
    2. In most cases if you feel you want a plan. There is no contract It's a month to month.
    3. All the things this does OUT OF THE BOX. IPAD is making a second generation machine to
    do.

And finally. This is a review section. REVIEW the product, not what you think the pricing should be, or your views of the IPAD. Nobody here cares about the IPAD. If they did. They would be reading the review on that product.
