  • "Awesome machine! Stomps Ipad and Zenithink Overall."
    5.0 stars
    on by djcooke68

Pros: Does it all! Video conference, Micro USB, panoramic camera shots, beautiful display, awesome, sensitive screen and keyboard with swype and great voice recognition, GPS Nav, Flash, WIFI, 3g, works as a hotspot, good battery life, very fast and solid!

    Cons: No Netflix (yet).

Summary: Put it this way. I run an internet advertising company and have to be able to access websites and my files. I bought an iPad to give me the portability I want and returned it in a day because of all the limitations for transferring files, no flash compatability, software limitations, no usb connectivity, etc... I searched for an alternative and tried the Zenithink Apad but it was a cheaper machine than I wanted and since I didn't have Android os pre-installed, more hastle than I cared to encounter.

I had a tech programmer that works for me do some extensive research given all I wanted to do and he came back and recommended the Galaxy. At first I thouht 7" inches would be smaller than I wanted, but after checking it out at the store, I bought it a few days ago and I am super impressed. I love this thing and can tell you right now it will get used a LOT. Its large enough to browse comfortably and take advantage of the media, yet small and light-weight enough to go with me anywhere in a large pocket.

I literally spent hours and went through 3 purchases in search of the right machine and am convinced, for me, this is the best of them!

In fact, I was so impressed this is my first review I ever submitted. I thought I might save someone else the trouble I went through deciding what to buy. I did get it for $499 from bestbuy with a 420 month 3g package, but they never activated the number. I brought it to the verizon store and they activated it for me without a contract and sold me the breakage/damage warranty for $9 a month and I have no contract since I already owned the hardware. I feel I got the best of both worlds since bestbuy wanted about $250 for a warranty...Hope this helps someone...

To correct a typo, that was a $20 a month data plan. Not 420 month.... :)
