Pros: It's small, it's fast (mostly) and it has a lot of potential.
Cons: Either the hotspot or the internet connection isn't stable even when I've got 4 bars. The touch-screen takes a LOT of getting used to, especially if you are a touch typist who isn't into texting. Some apps appear to interfere with the Internet connection.
Summary: I bought the Tab because I wanted a Wi-Fi hotspot for my MacBook when we're RVing. Unfortunately, in the 5 months I've owned the thing, it's worked at best 15% of the time. Sometimes it appears the hotspot drops the connection to the Tab, sometimes the Tab drops the connection to the network (or visa-versa). Either way, I can't rely on it to access the Internet.
And while I've talked to some very helpful Verizon customer care reps, on the whole I'm pretty disappointed, and won't be renewing my contract.
