Pros Powerful, Fast, and truly replaces my laptop
Cons inputs are less than optimal
Summary A bit on the pricey side, but in 6 months, it will be primed to serve as a Win 8 tablet (for the beta at least)
Pros run desktop apps, connect usb devices, install office, remote desktop.share instantly with charms, apps talk to one another, live tiles and html5
Cons not many metro apps, and desktop ui also need to change slightly to be easily used with touch
Summary great tablet with new windows 8 very smooth run desktop apps, connect usb devices, install office, remote desktop.share instantly with charms, apps talk to one another, live tiles and html5 not many metro apps, and desktop ui also need to change slightly to be easily used with touch
Pros Accurate touch screen, fast processor and SSD. Bright screen. Loud speakers. Ability to run windows applications (like Office). Good dual band WiFi NIC. Has a TPM (yep bitlocker support)!!
Cons Samsung add-on software. Ambient light sensor position. On screen keyboard and blue tooth keyboard (wakes up slowly, often dropping first character typed).
Summary I was really excited to try this tablet with windows 7 professional as a replacement for the Android table and Windows laptop combination I had been using. Especially since I could add it to our AD domain to manage resources.Update for Windows 8
Unfortunately Samsung has loaded it with a number of programs that keep popping up the UAC window when you are logged on as a non-administrative user. They are:
Smart Setting Program
Easy Speed up Manager
Which coupled with the poor keyboard choices makes it quite painful to use. In my case I needed to pen in/enter a 23-25 character password a minimum of five times after each restart, unless I was logging on with an administrative privileged account.
I'll probably load Windows 8 on it for a quick try before returning it for a more conventional ultrabook.
Oh, and about the ambient light sensor. It's on the right side of the device so us right harders are partially blocking it when we use the pen causing the screen brightness to fluctuate needlessly (and is rather annoying).

I installed Windows 8 RP on this device a week ago and am really glad I did so. This tablet rocks with Windows 8 and I'm really looking forward to the final release. All the problem Samsung software is gone and the tablet feels much more responsive. Samsung has a really nice site explaining how to install Windows 8 on the device and deserves credit for going that extra mile. Check it out at http://www.samsung.com/global/windowspreview/.
I move this review up to 4.5 stars now.
Pros A full powered Windows portable device.
Cons Not good built-quality.
Summary I agree with the guys who said that the author is biased towards iPad. He mentioned a bit of Galaxy not be obviously bias. And I agree more on this iPad=toy, Windows Slates=computing device and a true productivity portable device.
