"A bit pricey but worth it - nice competitor to iPad 2!"3.5 starson by mattliptak
Pros: Nice design and ability to move apps around and customize. Screen clarity if comparable to iPad and remote control feature is great! Moving wallpaper is a nice touch compared to iPad.
Cons: Feels a bit flimsy with an outside back case made of plastic/folded book case. Android marketplace will never be an iTunes but has some nice comparisons. Docked gallery slideshow has no speed controls.
Summary: I already own an iPad 2 and never usually buy products outside Apples realm. However, I own Sony products such as Blu-Ray and Bravio TV and Handycam and feel Sony released a nice competitor with the Tablet S. It runs on Android Honeycomb and has a lot of the same features as an iPad minus the single button navigation, this tablet is 100% touchscreen with the exception of a side volume control. I like the side panel card access to add memory and I also like that you can add a moving wall paper screen to your background which iPad has no ability. Sony access to the Playstation store is nice along with PS One games and also a remote control app which allows control of all Sony and non Sony products. The only thing I did not like is how flimsy this tablet feels, with an outside shell of plastic, it is light but feels cheap. I also do not care for the folded book design. In all though a solid tablet and one that could take on iPad with ease.
