Pros Better screen and seemingly better memormy management over he Xoom are nice upgrades. I fins that I need to restart Xoom after a few hours of use to clear the cache. Video in the browser is on pl ar with Xoom, which needs improvement.
Cons Google stil needs furthet optimization. I still experience crashes more often than iOS. No good way of managing open apps. Samsung's upcoming 9 inch looks to be more form friendly with weight and thinness.
Summary I find it curious why all of CNET'S Android Tablet rhe review content reviews are all 3.5 stars when clearly the review content reflects significant disparities between the performance, user expetience and even features. with the exception of the low end unknown branded tabs, the Archos, I think the Dell Streak, current Samsung 7" Galaxy tab all have the same score but much different written conclusions...
Pros Size and weight are ideal and the feel is good. The tables is quick to load, reliable, and durable. I have been using mine for 6 months now without any problems.
Cons LG is slow to offer upgrades.
Summary A great tablet experience.. I actually like it more than my iPad 2.
Pros It burns really well
Cons the battery went dead too quick
Pros Form factor is great, screen resolution is pretty darn good, 4G ROCKS!, HDMI port and connectivity is awesome. You can turn your flat screen into a giant tablet. Processor speed is very good, Drag and drop files again is wonderful in a Windows environment
Cons No support from LG, they have nothing worth visiting the website, had a support guy ask me why I wanted to register the product? Android 3.0 firmware is unrefined to be nice about it. If you have any Apple products you will hate it. Screen freezes, Reset
Summary The G-Slate is one step above my old Samsung Galaxy Tab, (the single core processor one) the app market is somewhat different for unknown reasons. Some of the cooler applications that ran on my rooted Tab are not available on the LG android market? The only good game Asphalt five has been replaced with a HD version that is totally lame. If you are a gamer don't go android unless you like Pong type action. I cannot understand with the awesome hardware why the software is so, well soft! I love the connectivity of the device. Love being able to drag and drop files, music, videos without using iTunes or Kies (which never worked). Screen is awesome and the 4G is the greatest thing to happen to mobile devices since, well since ever! The device is as fast as my Wifi, I'm talking 9k downloads which is amazing!!! Still all that said I'm kinda bummed that T-Mobile does not have the iPad 2. If ATT gobbles them up I won't be able to afford a data plan anyway. I gave the device 3 stars because it has potential to be great and I am hoping that the 3.1 update will resolve some of the software issues. Please develop a better gaming experience, devices like this are the ultimate time killers and without gaming or Netflix I may as well keep carrying my laptop.
Pros It is not made by apple,
Sleek fast performance,
Graphics performance are amazing!
Cheap Monthly fee
Cons Battery Life could be better
Herd to find Accessories
3D is gimmicky
No Insurance Available from T-Mobile
Summary It can do everything I could ever need a tablet to do and it can do it better than any other device I have seen.
