  • "Same as the Japanese AT 700?"

    Pros: Thin and lightweight.

Cons: On switch has rare glitch.

Summary: Not sure this is the same device as the Japanese AT 700, but if so, I've been using it for over a month. Overall I'd say it's a pretty good machine for email and the basic Google apps (such as Maps). It is a major break from their previous machines, but doesn't seem as mature as I'd like. The speech recognition seems slightly better than my Android 2.2 phone, but I'd hoped for even more, and I sometimes find myself rewording my dictation (usually for email) into forms that experience has taught me are more likely to produce good results. No firm metric of the maturity, but I feel that watching video seems to be causing some kind of memory leak (GC glitch) resulting in a need to reboot.
