The CNET UK team are heading to Berlin this week for IFA, the huge consumer tech conference. It's a massive show with press conferences from Samsung, Sony, Asus, Panasonic and, well, pretty much everyone else.

It's such a big deal, in fact, that most of us are switching over to CNET.com for the rest of the week, so we'll be publishing all the latest news, live blogs, photo galleries, videos and more from the show on our parent site.

Head to this page to see all our coverage: we've already started spilling the beans on the newest hot tech, with some tasty morsels from HTC, LG and Acer attracting some buzz before the show properly kicks off.

Things will start to get moving later today with the first press conferences: here are the live blogs we'll be producing:

  • Sony: Wednesday, 3pm UK time. Expect to see a new flagship phone, some cool Windows 8.1 devices and an intriguing clip-on camera lens for mobiles. Go here for the live blog.
  • Asus: Wednesday, 3.15pm UK time. Hopefully we'll see a bunch of new tablets plus more on the exciting, sexy computers Asus showed off at Computex. Go here for the live blog.
  • Samsung Unpacked: Wednesday 5pm UK time. This is the big event you won't want to miss. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Gear smart watch and a new version of the Galaxy Note. Go here for the live stream, live blog and pre-conference show with Brian Tong and Donald Bell at 5pm.
  • Samsung's second press conference: Thursday, 9.45am UK time. So amazeballs is Samsung these days, one IFA press conference isn't enough. In contrast to the mobile-focussed stuff on Wednesday, this second conference will focus on TVs and smart appliances, so expect 4K aplenty and some fun gadgets. Go here for the live stream and live blog.

There'll be plenty more going down alongside those press conferences, so make sure you save our IFA show page and check back frequently for updates. CNET UK will continue to be updated this week, but most of the action is at CNET.com this week – see you there!
