Short Take: iVillage in talks with CBS and Hearst

iVillage reportedly has approached both CBS and Hearst about taking a minority stake in the company, according to the New York Post. Jason Stell, an iVillage spokesman, declined to comment on that report other than to say that the company has been in talks with many media companies. The privately held company to date has raised $67 million in four rounds of financing via strategic and financial partners.
