Pros: Not sure there are any

    Cons: To many to list

Summary: Having worked in the software industry for over 20 years I generally feel when I pick up a new piece of consumer software that I can generally figure things out quickly and when I stumble a couple quick looks into the help will solve all my problems. If someone like me can’t figure this out somewhat intuitively - good luck to the rest of you.

I have spent over 6 hours trying to plan a cross country trip and I am nothing but frustrated. Everything that you would think is of to navigate a map is missing; when you scroll your mouse down it zooms out instead of in, like every other application in the market that zooms with a mouse wheel. When you want to pan across the screen to show map details off the page you would think to click and drag like all the internet provides and adobe – nope not that one either. I could go on and on but I don’t want to spend anymore time on this product.

I plan on sending this back for the ”30-day money-back Guarantee” they promise on the back of the box. Even if they don’t refund it I will throw in the garbage.

I’ll post an update later when I find a better product.

Badly design software. What were they thinking? Whoever approved the release of this software must be out of their mind. Nothing is easy, everything is made complicated. I agree with the reviews, DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE.

the comments from the last reviewer, struck me in a way to cause me to write my first review ever in 10 years of internet use. i own street atlas 2006. the frustration he expresses is a reaccuring event, almost every time i use the software. those envolved with the developemnet of this software, must never have used any other software. nothing is easy or natural.<br><br>the "find" option is a joke. first let me point out the obvious about a users needs. i never need a gps system to go somewhere i've been before. i almost never load a "saved map". when i open this program, it's because i'm looking to get somewhere. so upon opening the software, i get my last route. so i clear this then i have to go to find. then i click advanced, because why would i use less than advance when advance is lame. then i have to flip down and select the ridiculous options i have for search. these guys ever search at yahoo or google. you type a word in and hit enter. there's not 7 different search technics you have to wade through, trying to remember each's unique way at looking at what your asking of it.<br>then i have to type in 2-4 colums of info or else it acts like im typing japenese (not a disrespect to my fellow japenese)then more than half the time i get 1 or 2 addition choice that i must select, and after all this, i'll get to start over because i didn't type store in "electronics store"<br><br>i also can go on and on. i have read the help section so many times,as if it actually doeds help. <br>i bought the gps unit and software and have refused to purchase another from a different company, a decision which i have suffered from. <br><br>after a year of using, i have mastered this program as well as any consumer could ever. thanks for creating 2007 delorme. sounds like more of the same. i have read reviews on 2006 2007 ,and have read some of your peoples responses, and it's clear in the tone of the words, that you guys have to deal continually with the frustrated customer and have taken the position that everyone's an idiot outside your walls. i will not be funding your future again. your release of 2007 which is sadly a repeat of the mistake we consumers allowed you to make again. <br><br>DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, FOR SAKE OF SOFTWARE CONSUMERS.<br><br>rob
