Pros: Pretty to look at
Cons: Software does not recognize tracks well: I played an album, both sides, and Sound Forge recognized only 2 tracks, side 1 and side 2. In order to list individual songs, I had to go back and insert tracks manually. Stupid pain.

Summary: This was a gift, so I have to keep it, but if I had bought it myself I would have sent it back a long time ago. Find another product and make sure you make sure you use different software.
"Works well with my Bose stereo and Mac computer" By rthomaslyons
Pros: The turntable works well with my Bose stereo system and my Mac computer. I downloaded VinylStudio from the net which is rated highly. I tired the first 5 albums and then bought the software as it was relatively easy to use.
Cons: The Sony turntable played well with the Mac but why would anyone bundle Windows only software in this day and age. Shame on you Sony, you are such a good company and should be above that!
Summary: Sony makes great products! Buy the turntable, good price. Dump the software and buy VinylStudio to work with it. Once the albums are recorded you can play with the track identification and post production pop and hiss removal later.
