"save your receipt and packing!"
Pros: easy to set up
Cons: quit working after a week
Summary: APEX DIGITAL should be ashamed of foisting this substandard product on the market. Many of the APEX converters were bought with government coupons. How many nonfunctional units will be tossed in the landfill because people didn't save their packing? Your tax dollars at work!
Updated on Jun 21, 2009My opinion is this product was designed to do a fast cash in on all those lovely government coupons.

I went through two of these converters in less than 6 months. The high-pitched squal means I have to leave it on all the time, which I was told is OK. But it was a total waste of $.

MY Apex overheats, emits an awful shriek and won't shut off with the remote. I have to unplug it and let it cool down before I can use it again. This may be a fire hazard. I'm going to call them even though my warranty is expired. Does any one else have this problem? I've been setting the sleep timer for 1 or 2 hrs. so the unit turns off incase I forget to do so.
