this product has been a nightmare!!!by tdb7 - December 31, 2008
Pros: none---theory is good but item don't follow through!
Cons: 1st unit purchased worked 2 wks, took 2 mnths to get bad unit replaced. 2nd one worked 3 mnths & modem went out. not happy w/ RCA as what we can do after dozens of calls. Too many 1-800 & no one speaks clear English. A true nightmare experience

Pros: Works every now and then, if you turn it on and fiddle with it for about 2 minutes you may be able to surf the web for about 12 minutes before it freezes
Cons: Every 2 weeks a 3 to 7 hour upgrade, constant freezing, endless navigation errors on the most basic websites, will refuse to log on 6 out of 20 times, and it works 175% worse then the old webtv basic
Review:
My opinion is that this device has so many gliches and horrors for the daiy consumer to face after buying this thing, that it leads one to come to a certain conclusion. Since this shoddy service is coming from Microsoft, it must be a ruse to induce folks into forgetting about the whole web tv idea and just buy a computer!
