How many repairs does it take?????
Pros: Simple setup, contemporary design, good price.
Cons: Box does not work!!!! I purchased the SIR-T351 for use with QAM tuning. Straight out of the box it would not recieve any signal from off-air antenna or QAM signals. After two returns to the Samsung Service center it began recieving Off-air signals. Two mo

On my Second one
Pros: Easy to set up
Cons: I am on my second one and I am going to have to exchange for a third. It is unable to recieve a signal. A real piece of work but, I was able to buy it on sle at AAFES for only 100 dollars. Samsung is no help in the matter.

Tuner Stinks
Pros: Nice Setup Screen
Cons: Tuner is of poor quality..keeps dropping signal. Picked up a US Digital HDTV Receiver from Walmart for $199 and it picked up every HDTV Station and held a signal better than Samsung. I've gone through seven antenna and finally figured i would try someth

EXCELLENT PICTURE and SOUND!
Pros: I don't know about the problems others indicate. This is my second Samsung STB (I had an earlier version) and both always worked even with weak signals coming from as small indoor HD antenna.

Worth the $$$ if you need quality
Pros: Great product all the right connections and features. Even has a program guide built in.
Cons: Dolby Digital cuts in and out when I got mine. Called Samsung and they sent me a Firmware to download for fix. Works great now.

Scan DTV upper channels first, otherwise appears DOA
Pros: Excellent picture once you figure out how to use the unit.
Cons: Manual should explain how users MUST scan channels first to find DTV channels. Otherwise, as seen by many users here, unit appears DOA. Samsung should better explain DTV channel assignments. Samsung seems to assume users all know how DTV channels work. TO

Seems decent so far
Pros: Fairly inexpensive. Much higher quality mechanicals than USDigital one from Walmart (don't know about picture quality though) DVI, Coax&Optical dig-audio outputs. Fantastic sound and hdtv picture on 32" Sony Wega.
Cons: Slow channel changes (a couple seconds) and remote does seem slow to respond.

Works Beautiful
Pros: Beautiful Picture can watch olympics in HDTV without cable or satellite. Easy to use and programming guide available just like cable
Cons: Must set tuner up by having it memorize the channels but after brief set-up works great. Other users that report difficulty in working didn't set it to memorize the channels. Samsung had excellent customer support.

Pros: Easy to setup. Didn't even have to crack the manual. Looks great on my Sony Grand Wega even with rabbit ears - shockingly great, actually.
Cons: Haven't found any yet, except for putting up with the 'flames' on these review sites. Everyone wants to feel they made the right decision. We'll see...

Piece of Junk. 7 failed to work
Pros: Nice setup screen
Cons: Is this a joke? I bought this and went through 6 of them from Ultimate and 3 from Circuit city. All of them could not receive any signal at all...even in the store! Samsung denys there is any problems or reports of a DOA.

Cons: - Slow in switching channels - When programming the channels it would not keep them in order, making it difficult to follow and set. - Remote Control had to be pointed straight to the unit for it to work - Terrible ergonomics in the remote control - Lousy

Don't buy, I had to get 3 to work!
Pros: Matches my Samsung 43" DLP projection unit.
Cons: First unit bought had to be exchanged. Second unit would not work either. Samsung had me send third back to the repair depot. Third unit then worked.
