"Voom is under rated on this forum"
Pros: Excellent HD plus all the other satellite channels
Cons: Longevity of Voom, networks
Summary: I'm a long time Dish customer with a new HD TV. Problem: lack of HD programming and a MPEG2 signal making my TV look horrible. Solution, Voom for one buck! Enjoying educational HD programming plus HBO HD, TNTHD, Discovery HD, ESPN HD, Universal HD for what I was paying before. Kept Dish for the networks and PBS because I'm in a no signal area for off air. The customer is in a no lose situation. The complaints about installation are because it is subcontracted to locals. Same for the other satellite guys. Voom needs customers and you have nothing to lose. Try It!
