"Not up to the hype." on

Pros: Hardware encoding, quiet, easy to install, and good remote.

Cons: (USED W/ XP PRO...not MCE) I was trying to remain a loyal ATI user but think I have to end the relationship now. Here are the nuts and bolts of what a mid-level user thought about the "future of TV on your computer." Horrible interface (w/out MCE), awf

Thank you for the information, though I think it admirable that the media industry is optimizing the online interface, it's good to know that the future of television on computers is not terribly likely. I'm a little more old fashioned and like having the computer parts and accessories needed for operation to be independent of my ability to access local broadcasting. http://techsonhandstore.com

I will not write my review in this comment, but I will say this:

Try updating your software as The version I have (just got it this weekend) has a scheduling feature and comes with a tv-guide software

In the settings for the software (which looks basic and crappy, but works (somewhat)) there is a setting for wide screen

Regarding the cost- I got a great deal on mine $114.00 CAD + !4% Canadian taxes so total of $129.96 CAD (I live in Canada)

I went to Tiger Direct (tigerdirect.ca also tigerdirect.com)

This user should have looked alittle harder for the features he was mentioning. on the remote there is a button for changeing aspect ratio. Also if this user would have read the editors comments on this tunner card he would have knoticed that the editor stated clearly that it has limited functionality with HDTV. All in All I would sugest rebuying this card and trying again.

P.S. If you wanted to store your recordings on a larger hard drive all you have to do is install the tunner cards software onto that larger drive.
