Pros Installed fairly easily and worked first time on XP
Cons Video quality is very bad. Had audio capture problem, but didn't bother to fix it because the video quality is so pixalated tha I would never use it for anything.
"Looking for disappointment? Try the DVC80 and the every-changing software it comes with."on by sftxbw
Pros Compact and USB ready
Cons Difficult to install, support provided by website or Dazzle is pathetic.
Summary Total disappointment. I have a fast XP computer and still cannot get this DVC80 to provide good results. The software it comes with, which appears to change on a monthly basis, is cryptic and difficult.
Pros the product is great,
Cons not the best quality... but fair enough, software included stinks... i record with it, close pinnicle's software then edit with a freeware called "virtualdub"...
Summary Either I'm a friggin' genius or you complainers are morons. I opened the box, plugged in the DVC, installed software, restarted, and started capturing video immediately. Within 20 mins. of opening the box I captured video, edited it, saved it, watched it, and laughed at how simple it was. Yes, the file sizes are large--you're converting analog video to digital! You can always compress it like you've been told before by others. I captured a little over a minute at 315MB. It's not THAT bad. And about the support--WHO NEEDS IT? If you can use a mouse and read the soft copy manual, why bother? Succinctly, this thing is the shiznizzle bam snipsnap bang. As far as the haters go, DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! This product works (and at under $60)!
Pros good for my dvd transfer
Cons pixelized picture quality. loud sound.
Summary It was ok for my analog transfer even though they had pixelzation. It was easy to use.
but it's now in the city dump.
