"I have Suse 9.0 Professional"
Pros: I have been a diehard Windows user until I tried Suse 9.0 professional . The installation was a breeze and you have all the software you could ever want. I am switching over totally to Suse. Great Job

"Almost there for non-geek user"
Pros: Installation is easy and straightforward and the hardware configuration is easy. Preferable to Red Hat, particularly if you should need to re-install and get all the (previously downloaded)patches after your Red Hat subscription has expired!
Cons: My ADSL connection weorks, sort of, but bogs down to a speed slower than dial-up. It may be a router problem, but FreeBSD works better than Windows on the same ADSL.

"Happy not to give Gates my money"
Pros: amazing features. it is truly open. I am a fairly novice user and I had no problem installing or getting my need programs up and running. I am agree with the other review that there is a learning curve but well worth the time. I also agree that Mircrosoft
Cons: I am failry new at this but there are some of us that have had our computer experiences spoon-fed to us and this can be a little overwhelming. More explanation would be nice.

Pros: nice screens, loads easy, some cool features
Cons: recognition problems are major with CD burners, support is horrible, they refused to give any installation support. not ready for prime time Windows users, unfortunately.
