SKU: 829222190401
Manufacturer: Memina
Manufacturer description
With transfer speeds up to 30 megabytes per second and as much as 4GB of premium flash memory, ROCKET drives offer performance on the leading edge. They also boast the no-lose swivel cap and gold USB connector that has made Memina's POCKET USB drives so popular. Product summary
The good: The Memina Rocket drive offers ample storage capacity; fast maximum speed ratings; Linux, Windows, and Mac operating system compatibility; and a lifetime warranty.
The bad: The Memina Rocket drive is extremely expensive and lacks bundled data-security software.
The bottom line: Though the Memina Rocket has a nice design and fast maximum speed ratings, it's overpriced for a thumbdrive that lacks data-security software.

Beware of this "Rocket"by zecka - October 19, 2006
Pros: I am still looking for them
Cons: Price: Waste of money
Review: I am still using an old Kanguru. It has been reasonably fast and steady as a ROCK. A while ago I purchased the Memina Rockect 4GB. I have had nothing but problems, which includes losing data several times. The tech support sent me a utility to resolve the problem. Well, it reformates the drive and you lose everything. One more thing: do not believe the speed advertised. So far it has been the slowest flash drive I have ever tried. To compare the Memina with the Kanguru, is like comparing an ailing bike with a new Mercedes.
What a piece of crap!!!!

This drive blasts through file transfers!by kmclok - October 12, 2005
Pros: 30 mbps read/write speed; swivel cap; lifetime warranty
Cons: none so far
Review: This drive is small, speedy, and definitely worth the money -- especially for business users.
I have used thumbdrives for a while to store/carry large files for client accounts -- usually multimedia presentations or graphic files.
In the past I have lost data on cheap drives -- or even some of the better "name-bard" ones have just taken forever to move files.
The Rocket zips through file transfers in the blink of an eye...it's great. And with 4GB storage, I don't need to lug around my laptop. Hopefully I won't need the lifetime warranty -- but I am glad it's there.
It is hard to sort through all the drives out there. This one, however, is top-notch. I highly recommend it.
