Cons: Very slow and very buggy
Summary: The software itself runs ponderously slow, with many annoying involuntary restarts. My system started and ran much slower and more erratically AFTER its "tune-up." SM6 took all night to defrag my hard drive compared to less than an hour using the built-in Windows defragmenter, and the drive was MORE fragmented when it was done than when it started. It was very reluctant to be uninstalled and caused several system crashes in the process. Won't miss it at all.

The application caused more problems and crashes than it fixed.

I was looking to see if anyone else had the same problem. Opening web sites and opening programs both take longer now since I installed system mechanic professional 6.

My PC is slower now then it was before I installed SM. Although I'd scheduled it to run Total Care at 5 am, it still keeps suggesting to run it in afternoon. There is no improvement after I do run it. Analizer keeps showing 255+mb of clutter and no matter what I do it howers around the same number. Called customer service. Guys can't really help. The last one promised to call back with suggestion. Never called. Can't get my money back either. They call this Total Care? More like Total Loss to me.
