Terrible VCR. Stopped Working After Warranty!
Pros: Fast Rewind, DID work for about 6 months.
Cons: Stopped working after 6 months of light use.

Don't buy SONY products anymore. I never will again. This product has stopped working on me and I barely ever used it. SONY customer support was extremely rude to me and did not want to help me out at all.

I give this product a rating of 2. I have had this product for just over one year. In the beginning everything worked fine and it had a fairely good picture but even then it was not as good as my former Panasonic which unfortunately gave up the ghost. Everything still works (including the sound) except the picture. All of a sudden the picture went haywire. I tired pre-recorded tapes and home made tapes all play the same way. I tried the manual tracking to no avail. Checked and rechecked all the connections. I think they purposely make them as throw away. Once you pass the warranty date most everyone will not want to pay to have them fixed they will just go out and buy another. This is the third SONY product I've had trouble with. I've bought my last SONY product. I Hope the next brand will be better.
