"Excellent consumer broadband video solution"
Pros: Easy setup, wireless connectivity, decent video quality, great sound quality
Cons: Thus far our daughter and son-in-law cannot call us even though we can call them.
Summary: Our daughter and her husband are Deaf. They live about 300 miles away so we can't see them regularly. Before we got the video phone, we used a web cam on a PC to talk with them on their video phone or we talked to them via an interpreter. Now we can talk in sign language directly with them and speak with our grandchildren who are hearing.
The video phone works very well. It does not provide high definition video but one cannot expect that for the price. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and recently bought additional units for other married hearing children so they can also call their sister and her family.
