"OK Software, but it will cost you $$$ to use its potential"
Pros: Easy to use and intuitive
Cons: Rendering takes forever
Summary: Compared to previous versions (7, and 8) this version is stable. I have experienced only the occasional lockup. I do like this software, but in this version they have added hundreds of effects, both visual and audio, that are locked and you have to pay out cash each time you want to unlock a feature.
This is a very sneaky and unfair marketing ploy of Pinnacle. This will be the last version of Studio I purchase.

Yes, I agree with stability and costs. It's more stable than 7 or 8, but as you later find out once working with software, most decent or better extras are just that, extras, with no mention on their sites or packaging of this extra cost.
The other pitfall is the rendering time. V-E-R-Y L-O-O-O-O-N-N-N-G!!! Good to do your burning while you sleep and hope for the best.
BUT, if your patient, and I mean REALLY PATIENT, the results are great -
just whining about the extra cost of this and that. Nothing about functionality which with this product cannot be evaluated since it completes no projects. Easy to make a master project. Try to render and disk copy. No way.
