Bad/limited support on problems not in the manual.
Pros: Impressive things to do with special effects, colorization, titling, etc. Creating the Menu for the DVD is impressive but limited.
Cons: BAD SUPPORT! Don't kid yourself. You buy this -- you're on your own! They may sell you a good line but when it comes right down to it -- rots of ruck!!! See my summary below...
There are NO tutorials! YOU have to figure out what to do! So it's a struggle. You look at all the Menus and you wonder -- what the h ell does THAT do???
You want on-line support -- you have to PAY for it!
And the ULead Forum is no better. Trying to find something is a struggle... and they won't listen!
and get this! if you have VISTA -- YOU CAN"T BURN MULTIPLE PROJECTS ONTO A DISK!!! You can only burn ONE project AND:
no where does it say -- and you can't find out -- if your project is longer than 1.5hrs >> you can't burn it!!!
Tell me if I'm wrong! But this has been my experience, and I have burned many projects with this software -- but NOT with VISTA!!!
VISTA is a curse!!! for this software.
Now I also have to say that I've tried another software -- Pinnacle -- and it's no better! Best bet is to buy the software from eBay -- so you won't FEEL so badly stung as you struggle along. Be comforted by the fact you didn't pay the retail price!!!!
And don't sign up for the newsletter or promotionals. You'll be hounded with unwanted solicitations...

Good product but HD video has been a problem.
Pros: It's easy to learn and easy to use and the more you use it the more you find out it is great software.
Cons: Must save my work frequently as it can crash. I cannot get Smart Proxy to work ( Smart Proxy is supposed to recreate your video clips into lower byte files) for more than a few clips and then it hangs. It's a pain because that's why I bought it.
