"Taking another look..."3.0 starson by WUASTT
Pros: The pros that I see in the reviews are good video quality, easy set up, no subscription required. My three star rating comes from the pros I see in the posts by others.
Cons: Non. This is not a review
Summary: I think TiVo needs another look from the editors of cnet. I am a system integrator and have been a TiVo pusher for a long time. My only disappointment with TiVo has been their lack of marketing that really shows off their product. Retail is less than the Channel Master but there is that ongoing fee(?). Not if you get a lifetime subscription. Then you could say that yes it comes at a higher price than the Channel Master. What you do get is more streaming than you are likely to want or need through a horde of the most popular video and audio services along with a lot of internet only programming (including cnet). You get to view all of your TiVo 'what's playing list', scheduling, season pass management all from any computer or smart phone over the internet, even see what is on the guide in your area. Add transfer of shows from one TiVo to another connected to your home network, transferring shows to your computer to view there or transfer to your iPod for later viewing. The list goes on like adding an external hard drive for more storage, great user interface and good integration into home systems..........
