good for what it is

Pros: 20 bucks @ fry's, Ok picture, pro scan

Cons: remote to small, hard to navigate menus

Review: I got it for $20 on black friday 06 at Fry's and it does a good job for the price. This is over a year old I usually have it hooked to a SDTV with component cables really solid. My Philips upconvert DVD broke down on me so I hooked to samsung 1080p and the picture was not bad. It took me a while to figure how to turn the Pro-scan on but I figured it out and it did the job. If you can get it for under 30 I would by it.

Works well for over a year (or to play about 100 CD/DVDs)

Pros: Price, Easy operations, Region free and multi format play

Cons: Not long lasting and remote

Review: I bought it for $25 during Thanksgiving sale. Works well upto 1 year if used nominally. After rigourous use it will start giving 'No Disc' or 'Bad Disc' messages even for a new DVD.

Cheap and decent

Pros: Cheap and easy to use

Cons: not real sure about the brand

Review: Well, I won one of these at a golf tourney. I was going to take it back for store credit, but my other DVD player had blown out and this would have only given me 30 bucks towards a new one, so I plugged it in. It works. It has stood up to a lot of use. It is not a fancy box, just a base level run of the mill DVD player and that is all you can hope for for $30. My player that blew up was a cheapie too, but died after a couple of months. I've had this little guy for over a year with no complaints. It is not my go to player, but good enough for the kid's play room.

Save Your Money: Stay Away

Pros: it has yet to spontaneously combust. the power light is attractive

Cons: the machine decides when your movie will have audio. the brightness will undulate throughout the entire movie.

Review: I would have been better served by introducing myself to a stranger and handing over 56 bucks plus tax (for two of these bombs). The bridge is out ... steer clear of the CyberHome.

Cheap - you get what you deserve.

Pros: Looks good, Price is tempting - be ware.

Cons: Disposable device

Review: Be careful ? The product is very very bad
It works for a couple of times only. To repair you would have top pay for shipping back and fourth and that is actually more than the cost of the product.
Be ware ? save your money or pay some more and get a known brand.

Played well - at first

Pros: Inexpensive Unit

Cons: Cheaply Constructed

Review: Purchased this last year, played well for a while. However must report that it lasted less than a year with very infrequent use (put on the living room TV and I normally watch before bed in bedroom). However for the $15.00 after rebate that I believe I paid I guess this is what I should expect. Gave it a 4 rather than a 3 as a friend of mine has one that is still working fine that was bought around the same time. Looks like it's somewhat of a crap shoot with these units.

Reasonable quality, very affordable.

Pros: Region-free, small size, many little extras.

Cons: Unrefined overall quality, very cheesy remote.

Review: For a low end VCR, this is impressive. It has many little extras one would not expect from something this inexpensive. Also it has a simple region-free hack that nicer mid-level players won't allow. The buttons don't have a tight click, but the picture is better then I expected with plenty of extra toys. The remote functions and is organized well, but is straight out of the early 90's. Recommended for the value and the region-free hack.

Good for budget and quality

Pros: Small design makes it fit almost anywhere. Good quality stuff.

Cons: No display makes it inconvienient to view time, remote small enough to be easily lost

Review: Very good.

This dvd player, plays darn near everthing!

Pros: compact unit, easy to hook up and price $30.00 cant be beat!

Cons: lens needs to be cleaned frequently

Review: I would recommed this unit to any one! Have not had one problem and have had unit for over a year!

Out of box it didn't work properly, picture was red

Pros: Small and compact

Cons: Coloring was way off.

Review: You get what you pay for! Don't buy this DVD player.
