"The DVD recorder fails to record" By Sharmos
Pros: Nothing that I can think of!
Cons: It damages DVDs and fails to record on them
Summary: The VR4940 freezes in mid recording, from the AV2 source to DVD and fails to save the data. The DVD itself becomes damaged. Many new DVDs are damaged when it is trying to read them and returns a message "corrupt disk".

Pros: The case can withstand being thrown in the dumpster by the power cord!

Summary: I have had to return my first unit after they gave my an upgrade that distroyed it. Now my second unit has very, very, serious recording problems. If you can get anyone from customer service to help you, all they say is it must be the disc I'm using. ... Expand full review
