CNET Editors' Take

The GoVideo VR4940 is perfect for archiving your noncopyrighted VHS and DV home movies to DVD, but it's no better for recording TV than your current VCR.

"Run, don't walk away from Go-Video" By bart2brett

Pros: The case can withstand being thrown in the dumpster by the power cord!

Cons: You name it

Summary: I have had to return my first unit after they gave my an upgrade that distroyed it. Now my second unit has very, very, serious recording problems. If you can get anyone from customer service to help you, all they say is it must be the disc I'm using. ... Expand full review
