    Pros: Tivo works great

Cons: Bad service and unreliable equipment

Summary: We bought this unit less than a year ago and I'm going on my third one. The first unit crashed all the time. The replacement "REFURBISHED" unit does not burn DVD's correctly. I'm not sure I'm up to spending more money to get another unit from Humax that is known to have problems.

If you are out of the first 90 days, Humax wants to charge $50.00 to send you a "refurbished" unit that may or may not work correctly. If you are over 1 year from the original purchase, they want to charge $210.00.

I'm adding the time up that I've spent on the phone with customer no-service and I'm totally wishing I bought a regular Tivo and a seperate DVD burner.
