"JVC Should Recall and Replace All These Machines!"
Pros: Makes an EXCELLENT copy to DVD from VHS!
Cons: THE DREADED LOADING ERROR!!!!!!
Summary: We purchased one of these machines, and it worked very well for about two months...then, out of nowhere, the same problem of the flashing "loading" error occurred, and the machine was unusable. We returned it to JVC for repair. It came back OK, and worked well again for about two months, but this morning we AGAIN saw the flashing "loading" screen! We called the service line and were told we have to return it AGAIN for service (as we had already gone through the unplugging and reset procedure). When the machine works, it's great; but this "loading" problem is horrible! And the fact that so many people on this website have complained about the same problem tells us this is definitely a case where the company should just recall all their units and replace them! What is the company gaining by ignoring this problem? They are losing customers like myself, who will now be leery of JVC products! The units are expensive, and this company should value those customers who provide them business!
