Pros
I like the Harddrive for storing multiple programs and the Dubbing feature to burn from the HD to DVD-R. Plus you can monitor the bit rates as it plays.
Cons
- Stuck with junky menus. - Compression isn't that great on SP mode using bit rates that are too low. - Mysterously shuts off sometimes while dubbing?!
