"Not ready for HD!"
Pros: Great concept
Cons: This is VERY important - This product does not ship with Sling Player 2.0, which means you can't stream high-def from your house to your remote location! Resolution is limited to 640x480
Summary: What's the point of streaming hi-def from your originating video system if you can't see it in hi-def at your destination?
A giant black eye for Sling Media! This product should NOT have been released without sling player 2.0

My upload speed at the sending location is 20 mbs. You can assume that I had researched the bandwidth requirements BEFORE ordering this device. You can also assume that nowhere in any of the information available to me before the purchase stated clearly that 640x480 resolution was all this device could do, or I would not have gone through the hassle or ordering this and setting it up.
And yes, this was not a review, because the product is incomplete IMHO was far as HD is concerned. -
First off Slingmedia stated in advance that it couldn't yet stream HD. Second do you have a fast enough upstream connection that it even matters? This isn't at all a review of the product.
