    it does not support wpa-tkip in CLIENT mode, meaning it only supports it when the location free device is acting as the AP, which means you have to have network cable next to your tv.
    When the device is in client mode (letting it wirelessly stream content to your network, ) it does NOT support wpa.
    I am shocked sony has not updated this, as I cannot imagine it being difficult (the device supports it in one mode, why not turn it on in the other?)

    WEP
    WPA-TKIP
    WPA2-AES
