Cons: Where do I start?......
Summary: When I record on DVD at any speed at sometime during the playback the program will stop for a split second then resume. This happens at least once during all recordings. The only way I found to stop this stop and go is to finalize the DVD. That gets to be kind of expensive when you just want to record a TV program for watching. I have even tried Sony brand DVD's to no avail.
There are certain store bought DVD movies where the sound seems to be wavy. The sound gets a little quieter than normal over and over. This does not happen when I play the same disc in another brand player.
Finally whenever I insert a blank DVD to record a couple of TV programs. The unit records the first couple fine, but thenext day if I try to continue to record a message comes on saying "disc is full and can no longer record" even thought I recorded at SP and have only two 1/2 hour programs recorded it says disc is full. I can't even erase the disc. I am working with Tech Support with these problems. Again the most annoying problem is the stop then go playback.

I was happy with the product for 2 months until it started to erase all what I recorded when I try to finalize the Disc it erase all the material I recorded and render the Disc unusable and I get a message(this disc canont play or recorded). Also It is very Hostile to copy protected material. It detected even if you Burned the DVD and recorded it on VHS, Still refuse to copy it from VHS. Now I am sorry that I bought it.
