Pros: Very intuitive setup process. Remote control is programmable to control your other devices. DVD burning couldn't be simpler.
Cons: After initial setup, you can change from phone connection to high-speed internet, but this requires a USB-to-Ethernet adapter. This should be made clearer up front.
Summary: The RS-TX20 has been a pleasure from the moment we took it out of the box. The setup process walks you through a series of screens and you simply select the appropriate answers. After initial setup, it does take 4-8 hours to process the information it has retrieved by phone, but after that the connections to retrieve schedule info are invisible (it hangs up if you need to use the phone). Recording is perfectly simple. The remote control is great -- programmable and very intuitive.
