Vudu BX100

Pros: movies on demand

Cons: $150 list price on box plus $5 to 15 per movie rental?! Box becomes a very expensive paperweight if Vudu goes out of business. does not work with home network.

Summary: I can get unlimited streaming movies from netflix through my xbox 360 for $8/month.
for those who do not want an xbox they can get a roku box for $100 that also works with home network and computer. if you do not want netflix you can rent movies from xbox live for a few dollars. or if none of these do it for you you can get movies on demand from cable company for the same price. If you are not copmfortable with streaming you can rent DVDs from a redbox for $1/ night.
WHY would anyone want to buy a very expensive box to be able to rent movies for the same or higher price than is already available from several sources?
I think VUDU has missed the time when they could charge this much.
