"Don't BUY! Wait for Vista Compatibility" on by tessatester
Pros: Would be cool if it was compatible
Cons: Not compatible with 64-bit systems (Vista etc...)
Summary: DON'T BUY not compatible with 64-bit systems (Vista etc...)! Wait for Nuance to make it compatible with 64-bit systems, which is becoming the new standard.

"User unfriendly compared to prior version memory hog" on by Lew84
Pros: I found version 9 easy to use and quite accurate. Have not got past early hurdles enough to comment well
Cons: I got thru general training. Wanted to do more - no accuracy center option allowed that. My prior experience with version 9 was of no help.

"On-line run araound" on by jbdenver
Pros: I like that the product accuracy is up there. Takes a bit of training, but worth it.
Cons: The customer service is horrible. I hadn't used the product for a year, strted it up, it tried to download an update, got a 404 error when tryingto connect. Can't contact anyone because my support has expired and they won't let you speak to anyone.
Summary: It's too bad that this comany uses the internet and slick programming to prevent a customer from contacting someone in tech support via email for a simple "how do i get a service pack". Especially since every time I start the program, it says I need it but can't download it because of a 404 error. Did they delete the link? Do they really care about the customer's experience? Hard to say since it's all but impossible to contact someone. Nice job of hiding Nuance.

"Don't Buy. No support WHEN problems start. Money wasted" on by stockgal
Pros: The box it comes in is pretty.
Cons: No customer support. Good luck finding a phone number to call for help. FAQ and written help is LIMITED, and once your read it once, you're stuck in a loop, and get NO WHERE !
Summary: The headphones and microphone that comes with the software DRAGON 10 is cheap and NEVER WORKED. The software's response was ALWAYS that the volume was set too low. ALL VOLUMES were set at the MAXIMUM level, and DRAGON could never HEAR a word I said. NO help from Nuance. Connection to computer for headset and microphone is archaic.

"works very well & should help out a lot of people" on by Shareguys
Pros: The training time is very short lucky five minutes if that. The speed of the text that is typed this incredible. This will help out many people who do not like to type all they have to do is speak all the work is done for them.
Cons: Takes a little time to learn the commands but once you get it it works
Summary: This program works very well I think it is a good buy for anyone who loves to use the computer. You can use it in Microsoft Word and to browse the Internet. The more you use it the easier it gets. So just keep talking and will do all the work for you.
