Pros: Handwritten notes are easier to remember but you can upload to computer to have notes easy to read and share on your pc, matches words to make notes easy to find, records audio so you can get what you didnt have time to write or anything you missed

Summary: This is PERFECT for someone like me!

If I type up notes sitting in class they are easy to read and I can type a lot faster than I can write (legibly anyway). On the downside, you have to carry your laptop in with you to class along with all your books and it?s bulky and just not as nice as only having pen and paper. Also, I can?t always remember things as well if I just type them, whereas if I write my notes out, I tend to remember what I wrote. With the smartpen I have the best of both worlds. I can write my notes at my own pace and remember more easily the details of the notes I wrote AND I can have it neat and clean on my computer. Also, because I don?t write fast I can easily find what I missed in the recording.

Finally, I can throw that old tape recorder I used for so long away!
