"Not sure where they were trying to go with this."
2.0 starson by radbirtsPros: Looks cool, good sound quality, small/light
Cons: Lots of lag on the menus and when skipping songs or pressing play, software leaves much to be desired, too glossy (scratches and scuffs very easily).
Summary: One of my biggest complaints with this is the software. It can be described in various words such as "mediocre", or "disasterous". I had the software update and the firmware update, however the m:trip software would freeze up when trying to sync. There's also no search function in the library, and I thought that was a basic in most media players. As for the player it's self, this was honestly a big dissapointment. There's an unbelievable amount of lag when I press play, skip songs, and browse my music library. The touch pad is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it responds at the slightest touch, however, sometimes you need the power of Zeus to get it to respond. The surface of it, much too glossy, when it's brand new, looks great, however after a month or two, looks pretty scratched up w/ a lot of scuffs and such, and I take good care of my things. Even my thumb print leaves small scratches on it, such as on the middle volume/menu browsing "button" (if it qualifies as a button). Overall, I do not reccomend this, I think they should have focused more on functionality than looks.
