Sony ICD-P620 (voice recorder)

Pros: This recorder has a bunch of cool features like mp3 recording and time stamp. Good battery life.

Cons: Sony does not support the ICD-P620

Summary: I recommend that you avoid this and all Sony recorders. They do not support their products.
I bought a ICD-P620 about 6 months ago. It works well, but requires Sony software to transfer audio files from the recorder. My old laptop died, so after buying a new one I attempted to install the software on the new laptop. The CD has a problem, so I went to the Sony download support page. The page says that there are no downloads available for the ICD-P620. So, I then contacted sony live support. They said that I cannot download the software. The only solution is to hook up an audio cable from the ICD-P620 audio out to the audio-in on my computer. This negates all of the cool features of this recorder like MP3 recording,
Please avoid sony voice recorders at all costs. They don't support their products
