"incompetent tech service"
Pros: I used iConnectHere Virtual Calling Card since 1999 on business trips in many different countries and I was very happy with the service. They had cheap rates and access numbers around the world. But not anymore.
Cons: They dropped the one feature I like, to be able to use ther calling card in many different countries around the world. Now the Virt.Calling Card only works in the US.
Summary: I used iConnectHere Virtual Calling Card since 1999 on business trips in many different countries and I was very happy with the service. They had cheap rates and access numbers around the world.
Dealing with Tech. or Cust.Support is ridiculous.
But not anymore. They dropped the one feature I liked, to be able to use their calling card in many different countries around the world. Now the Virtual Calling Card only works in the US.
Having issues with their service now, I was told "by the way, Virt.Calling Card only works in US". That's it.
I now use the VCC to make calls to a European land line, but the number I tried to call just returns an error and I get incorrectly charged for calls that do not connect and even worse I get charged for calls to a mobile number instead a land line. When I contacted Customer Service and tried to explain, their first three responses were, I should upgrade to a more expensive service plan. They did not even address my issue. Now, after three weeks of useless emails, they want me to still use their service and "test call" about 10 different numbers, but they would still not credit back the incorrect charges. They only respond in stupid verbiage with absolutely no value or help.
Bottomline, some rates are cheap, but NEVER put too much money on your account. You will get ripped off.
