    "Good Quality, Very Bad Attitudes" on by vmazelis

    Pros: Stable connections , clear sound

    Cons: A mess in their Billing Dept., Overcharging, Terrible CSR

    Summary: Initially, we've had a problem with getting a dial tone, but eventually my adult son, a Network engineer by profession, managed to fix the problem by reconfiguring the Linksys ATA. No help, only an insult has been offered by their CSR and management: "99.99 of our customers have no problems figuring out all the setup themselves". Afterwards, we've had a billing dispute with SipTalk / Globaltouchtelecom. Instead of solving it in an intelligent manner, they've refused to offer any acceptable solution, even after my son also signed up for their service, upon my referral.

    We've cancelled both accounts but keep getting emails about "Your Invoice Available at the following link". The link is always dead, however. And this is happening every month, three months after the cancellation. I send an email to their CEO, Cliff Rees, and this is part of his response: "...The invoice is attached here – 99.9% of people can open the link just fine. And the invoice is just showing the credit to your account and that you now owe $0.00. Your paranoia is showing."

    Pros: Super Call Quality - Softphone is Lifesaver on Trips

    Cons: Reviewer was unduly harsh - set up was a breeze!

    Summary: I don't know what the reviewer is talking about, this is a completely plug and play user friendly product. Siptalk uses Cisco (Linksys) products, which are excellent quality. I do a lot of calling and faxing to Europe for my home business and the service has been flawless to date after a whole year. I use the softphone in hotels and airports in England – gone are the days of the 800 dollar cell phone bill!

    Pros: Internationational Call Quality is Excellent

    Cons: FAQ section could be expanded upon

    Summary: I have a friend in Europe that I talk to on a regular basis and the call quality has been excellent. If your looking for a phone service that gives great rates to Europe and has great call quality this would be the one.
