"This is a great car."

4.5 stars  | on by jca671

Pros

I've had mine for almost 5 years/59,000 miles & it hasn't given me any problems. Seats are comfortable, even on long trips, and interior space is good for a "compact" wagon. Heated seats/side mirrors & wheel mounted audio controls are nice.

Cons

Rear bench seats 2 in relative comfort but 3 adults get pretty cramped. I have 2 car seats in mine right now & there's no room left for an adult . Also, it came with a roof rack but no cross-bars. Lastly, the side view mirrors don't retract flat.

Summary

Great value for a compact wagon. I get about 28 city and 31 highway, so the gas mileage is respectable. Domestic cars have come a long way and are undervalued IMHO, so if you want a good deal on a wagon, look no further. Ford made a big mistake discontinuing ... Read full review

Great value for a compact wagon. I get about 28 city and 31 highway, so the gas mileage is respectable. Domestic cars have come a long way and are undervalued IMHO, so if you want a good deal on a wagon, look no further. Ford made a big mistake discontinuing the hatchbacks including the wagon after the 2007 model year, but if you're in the market for a decent 2WD second-hand wagon, look no further. No recalls since the 2003 model year and the 5 year/100,000 mile power-train warranty told me this was a safe bet and it has been- no complaints.
