"Have you taken the Audi A4 Avant for a test drive???"
Pros: All-Wheel Drive
Cons: Missing Audi Refinement
Summary: Having owned both several BMWs and Audis, I KNOW how much nicer Audis are. Asthetically, there is no car manufacturer which can touch an Audi. Performance wise, both these vehicles are in the same catagory with a slight nod to the Audi's AWD system. The Bimmer does have (and always has had) a stiffer suspension. In the city, you'll prefer the Audi's refinement. Off the beaten path, you might prefer the Bimmer's stiffer ride. Down the straight away, you'll definitely wish you had the Audi.

I have owned Audi's (A4) since 1999, and BMW's since 2004. Yes, Audi has better design and that is it. Quality of workmanship, handling, engine performance, seating (especially front seats), suspension - in ALL of those areas BMW is easily superior. Audi is not a bad car but it does not top BMW. If money is not an issue, go with a bimmer and you will be glad you did.

sorry dude but while audi is known for thier immaculate interiors, it is widely recognized as not having th 'oomph' that a bmw has. the support structure isnt in place. the mechanics are stil not sound enough- remember the audi 5000? they are stilll recovering from hosting such dramticaally bad yet potentially winning vehicles. they also carry that on thier backs. then there are those people who are enamored by objects that are outside the 'preferred choice', and i think thats where you fall in, just MHO. close, but no cigar....not ever dude.
like dave chapelle would say,..."sorry!"
