The Bottom Line The 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT lacks the cabin tech for modern entertainment and information. But its saving grace is the usable interior space and the good fuel economy. The 2010 Mazda Mazda3 s Grand Touring 5-door's cabin tech package is good, but not the best in the business. However, its performance and utility sit well above that of your average economy car. Although unimpressive to drive, the 2010 Kia Soul Exclaim offers practical interior space, a cool exterior, and a very capable stereo and phone system. The 2009 Toyota Venza AWD V-6 combines aspects of a large sedan and an SUV on the outside, while combining an excellent cabin tech package with a high-quality interior on the inside. The 2009 Toyota Matrix, when equipped with all-wheel drive, works as a practical car for people living in wintery regions. However, it forces some pricey technology trade-offs and doesn't let you have it all.
