Pros Easy to operate. Uses much less water while getting clothing very clean & fresh.
Cons Some noise like a jet engine at times when spinning up! You'l probably need some water arrestors in older plumbing. This is to stop the water "hammering" noise & action.
Summary Overall, highly recommend this top end machine. An excellent choice.Do NOT buy from Home Depot though. They're worthless on customer services on installations issues with whom they contracted with. They delivered the dryer too but you must read their fine print like a lawyer. That is to see what they'll really do on setting these up.

Pros Profile is less bulbous than our last w/d so more room, cleans great, quiet and efficient.
Cons None so far
Pros Relatively quiet and efficient. Many optional cycles for different types of loads. Looks good. High speed spin gets rid of most water. Cleans cloths well!
Cons 'Water Hammer' problem with both my machine and identical one bought by a family member. Neither of us had this problem before with older machines. LG simply claimed this is caused by too high a pressure in our supply lines!
Summary Water Hammer problem seems to occur with many LG front loading washing machines, according to reviews on internet sites. Concerned about the possibility of long-term damage caused by pressure 'spikes', perhaps caused by solenoid valves shutting off too quickly? Will be installing 'water hammer arrestors'. Otherwise happy with machine.
