"Disaster--avoid this washer at all costs"
Pros: Looks nice but that is the only good thing I can say about it.
Cons: Repeated water leaks from this washer. Terrible service from Samsung! They sent out a repair person that told us Samsung should replace. But Samsung wants to keep sending out more repair people-even when they can't find any in the area!

Pros: Complete set of wash cycles & options; SilverCare effective in removing odors; High & Extra High speed spin cycles DO reduce dryer time; Quality feel/solid construction; Energy Star rating; Lower than average energy cost; Stainless steel drum

Pros: The research for this purchase paid off. This Samsung is just the pride of our appliance inventory! Almost silent. Friendly to delicates. Little water but cleaner clothes. Doesn't "walk" on floor with high powered spin cycle. Others do.
Cons: For some reason, I always seem to turn it on (large power button in upper right corner hit too easily when reaching for something above). It plays the wake up tune, so I shut it off and it makes sleep tune. Just seems too easy to activate.

"Outstanding washer! Quiet, Quick and thorough."
Pros: Cleans clothes much better than any washer we've owned. Uses little water and less detergent. Washer is across the wall from the headboard of our master and you can't even here is running. The silver care option allows disinfection in cold water.
Cons: A little pricier than some brands. Must wipe standing water out of gasket after wash to avoid musty smell.
