Cons severe mold issue, spin cycle issue, noise & vibration
Summary The mold issues w/unit are severe. Even when the door is left open after a load, mold issues still occur. I now have to use a mask when washing my family laundry. Getting rid of it as soon as possible.
Also to note...spin cycle does not always remove water so that a second spin cycle is required. The unit also has noise & vibration problems. It can't be run at night because it wakes up family members.
Pros Well...they are much prettier than any other washer and dryer set I've previously owned.
Cons Like a ditzy supermodel, this washer and dryer set is beautiful on the outside, but completely lacking in functionality.
Summary Completely out of character for me, I talked my husband into selling our plain, older model, perfectly-functioning top-load Whirlpool washer and dryer set, for the sleek, shiny, new Samsung front-load pair. What an idiot (me). The washer broke twice in the first year, and the dryer once. The first year's repairs cost about $400. Since then, the washer has broken twice more, and my husband has taken it apart himself to do the repairs, in order to save money on this poorly-thought-out investment. In one instance, the cause of the repair was due to the tremendous amount of shaking this machine does (despite the claim that the washer is self-correcting, and among the quietest), it literally shook one of its wires right off the motherboard! It was washing machine suicide!
The washer is twice as loud as any other I've owned, and no manner of correction to the stabilizers will lessen the shaking during the spin cycles. My towels come out smelling like mildew, so I have to do towel loads twice, or do 3 towels at a time-effectively overriding any efficiency claims there may be. My whites are now beige, despite the fact that I pour cupfuls of bleach into the dispenser. My daughter's sports uniform was so dingy, that her coach asked me if I could do something to get it white again for picture day, because when she stood next to the other girls, there was such an obvious disparity in color. That was awesome. I spent the next two days soaking her jersey and socks in a bucket of bleach and Oxyclean until it was white again. When I put it back into the washer a week later, it was back to beige. All of our light colored cottons now have a beige tint to them.
The dryer sensor is worthless, it senses nothing. I have to use a timed cycle, because the sensor will leave the clothes damp and mildew smelling.
Samsung's customer service was lacking, to say the least, and all of their service techs are at least 40 miles from where I live-which compounded availability problems and prolonged any repairs. I have learned my lesson, and will never buy a Samsung appliance again. I have to suffer is silence for fear my husband will rile me for dumping my great-working Whirlpools for a pretty face! Talk about a washing machine mid-life crisis.
What a fool.
Pros Cleans Great
Uses little water
Uses little detergent
Steam feature is awesome
Cons None so far
Summary Purchased the pair when my GE Profile set died after 12yrs (also a good set). Extremely satisfied with the product so far. I have house pets, which equals a lot of hair. I like the fact the the washer filter is easy to clean. Thankfully, I didn't read the reviews first, kind of an impulse buy. Based on the reviews, I'm sure I would have not purchased them. I received them at an extremely good price, less than $2,000.00 for the pair, so I'm happy. Just hope they hold up at least half as long as my old pair.

Pros looks nice
Cons problems with spin cycle and vibration
Summary i bought a matching washer and dryer combo. the dryer has had to fixed 3 times in the past year, i have only owned it a year. the dryer has a design flaw that there is currently no fix for. the washer is an even bigger pile of crap. i have had to already have my washer replaced in the two years i have owned it. the washer has severe problems with the spin cycle, and cold weather. if you put it in your upstairs where its warm it will spin as long as its at least 70 in your laundry room. it gets unbalanced easily and does not do a good job cleaning towels...the towels come out stinking like mold. i bought the extended warranty and i am extremely grateful i did. although they will fix them it takes forever to actually get them repaired. it has been three weeks since my washer broke and i am still waiting for the parts to come in so i can get my washer fixed.the door gasket in this washer is crap i had a piece of clothing get stuck in between the tub and the door and it broke the shocks and the cable inside the tub. this must be a real prevalent problem for this washer because the parts are on back order. the repair man that came told me that these are real pieces of crap and that he had been out on three service calls in one day for this washer. when he called customer service to get the parts they gave him a hard time. if i could get my money back on these i would. i have now spent like a hundred dollars in the past three weeks at the laundry matand i still have no washer . also the warranty is bogus on the lemon law.when i purchased the warranty i was told that if they came to repair my appliance three times i would get a new one. well they lied and refuse to stand by what they originally said. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS CRAP
