We were very disappointed in the quality of this washer. When we decided to upgrade from our old top load Sears washer, that had lasted nearly 20 years, we decided to go with a front load high efficiency one. We selected the Whirlpool Duet from Lowes because of the name and reputation. It was hundreds of dollars more than other washers but we thought we were getting a quality washer that would last for many years to come. Well, while the washer was still under the warranty, it was almost totally rebuilt. The repair tech said that if it wasn't under warranty we could buy a new one for what it would cost to repair this one. Less than two years later, it is falling apart again. This washer is JUNK! do not waste your money.
